The 3★ hotel in Selce is built on a land plot of 2600 m2 in the first row to the sea next to Marina right in the center of town. Located in the small tourist town of Selce which is bordering with also famous tourist town of Crikvenica, located in the Kvarner Bay, the northeastern part of the Adriatic between Istria and Dalmatia. It is a popular tourist resort with a 150-year history, it has fifteen beaches with European Blue Flag- a symbol of quality and purity. The Kvarner region contains 4 larger islands and many small ones, there are as many as 32 protected areas in this region. The area is worldwide known for health and vacation tourism, being placed between green mountains full with untouched and tree dense nature and clean and beautiful Adriatic sea.
The interior area of the hotel has approximately 6,000 m2 distributed on 6 floors, all connected with 4 elevators. There are 96 “intelligent” rooms, all are a double bed, fully compatible with 4-star quality (size, equipment etc.). The hotel was built in 1986. and the armored concrete structure of the building is in excellent condition, confirmed by relevant documents.
From 96 rooms 71 are equipped with a sofa place that can be used as additional space. From that 17 rooms are located in the attic, smaller in size. Conversion of numbers, roof change, heating and establishment of air conditioning systems, interior renovation of furniture (400,000 €) was made in 2004-2008. To get the fourth star for the hotel, investment of only € 150,000 is needed.
The hotel contains a restaurant with 220 seats, a kitchen (350 m2, re-equipped in 2006), a storage room (500 m2), a dessert/ pastry place (200 m2), 2 boutiques, a beauty salon. This year pizzeria was opened with a capacity for 100 people with access to the promenade.
Wellness is open (Hotel Ownership), including four equipped massage rooms and cafeterias. Sauna and jacuzzi are in the process of construction.
The hotel has a small conference hall for 50 people, and there is a plan to build a large, 250 m2 for 150 people. There is also a place to build a closed/indoor pool along with the possibility of construction of additional 15-18 rooms.
